American gospel royalty Tasha Cobbs Leonard’s tour of South Africa is gaining momentum with excitement set to soar ahead of her performance at Moses Mabhida Stadium on September 23, 2023.

The multi award-winning songwriter will headline The Revival Train at KwaZulu-Natal’s iconic venue, where gospel lovers are expecting to be ushered to great dimensions in worship with the anointed worshiper. TRT Media Production, the organizers of the concert at Moses Mabhida Stadium, say the Break Every Chain hitmaker is looking forward to her performance in Durban.

“We are thrilled about hosting greatness in the form of Tasha Cobbs Leonard at Moses Mabhida. The Revival Train is going to be an out of this world experience. Tasha Cobbs is very excited about coming to South Africa and Moses Mabhida. The venue is an iconic theatre built for the World Cup in 2010. It’s world class and we want to put on a befitting show,” said TRT Media director and event organizer Buti Elliot Mthembu.

According to Mthembu, the Grammy winning artist will be joined by several local musicians. So far three artists – Dumi Mkokstad, and Thinah Zungu have been confirmed as part of those who will minister in song at Mabhida.

“We want to stage an event that will be memorable in the minds of the people. We are going to make a lasting impression. Whenever people talk about gospel concerts, The Revival Train with Tasha Cobbs Leonard must rank high. We want people to be excited, to worship and receive salvation. We are going to have some of the best of South African gospel artists as well. We have already secured Dumi Mkokstad and Thinah Zungu, who are looking forward to the show. We are working on getting others to come on board,” said Mthembu.

Those looking forward to attending the event are urged to buy tickets early to ensure they witness greatness on the night of September 23. Mthembu says signs are that the venue will be filled to rafters.

“People have to make sure that they have their tickets as early as possible because at the rate that things are going, they might find themselves missing out on this awesome event,” said Mthembu.

Tickets are available at Ticketpros.co.za, Spar, Postnet, BP, Sasol, Caltex, Engen, Shell, OBC, and more stores.
